next year...

Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Bee to big for worry and too noble for anger.

Airports

Last weekend as I was walking through the airport and thinking about how much more enjoyable it would be if people weren't so annoying I thought 'hmm I should blog this and see if anyone else thinks this way.' so here I am. Check in took only about 15 seconds thanks to online check in :) I then went off to the security line, which wasn't really that bad either. It could have been that it was 7am on a Saturday morning but who knows, I think the bigger pain at the security check is making sure I remembered to put EVERY little item that has liquid in it into that little zip lock back they give you. The waiting in line and standing in that weird 'body scanner' machine weren't that big of a deal and the scanner didn't add very much time at all. I do think its strange however that SLC airport makes everyone go through there and the Vegas airport I only saw one and it wasn't even in a line! Anyways I'm just going to make make a quick list of things I like about the airport and things I don't like so much!

Dislikes:
1. People walking in front of you that just randomly stop for no reason and you crash into their suitcase and then they glare at you!
2. The fact that certain airports make you check in at least 45mins before your flights boarding time and you then just sit at the gate for 35 waiting to get on the plane only to find out your flight is late.
3. Screaming kids... its almost as bad as walmart!
4. Being charged to check my bags, can't you give me just ONE bag for free?? I mean I can't take anything in my carry on more that 3oz of liquid so how am I supposed to get my shampoo and hairspray to my final destination?! Big fat SCAM!
5. The snacks on board... I mean come on you really can't even give me the entire soda? I know its only like 25 cents a can and I did just pay 400 for my flight so...
6. Being charged twice as much for fast food just because they can!

Likes:
1. The people watching
2. Meeting a few new friends on the flight
3. The fact that if your at an airport you are either about to go on vacation or just had a vacation
hmm... I think thats all I got

Anyways I didn't say it was amazing and hopefully I'm not the only one that feels this way!

Day 22 – A letter to someone who has hurt you recently.

Day 24 – A photo of something that means a lot to you.

I took this on our honeymoon, It just reminds me of what an amazing week I had with Kasey and how simple life felt. We didn't have to worry about anything and we spent the entire week together not being apart while we were working or anything like that. I wish I could spend every day just being with him!

Day 25 – What’s in your purse?
a lot of crap! I posted a picture on facebook the other day of this...

Day 26 – A photo of somewhere you’ve been to.

the Oregon coast, one of my favorite places to be!

Day 27 – A picture of you last year and now and how have you changed since then?
um... skip? lol

Day 28 – Your favorite movie.
Oh gosh I have SO many favorite movies, I'm a total movie junkie... one of my favorites is probably Ever After, I could watch that movie every day! I love The Other Side of Heaven as well, and like 200 others!

Day 29 – Something you could never get tired of doing.
Besides snuggling up with Kasey... I could never get sick of capturing Gods beautiful earth with my camera and sharing it with the world (ok the few people that look at my fb page)! I swear everyday I just realize how much more beautiful and wonderful this earth really is!

Day 30 – A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past

ok so this is not like a portrait but whatever... anyways on to the important things! Three good things that have happened (not in order)
1. I was able to start carpooling to work with my dad a few years ago (sadly we don't anymore) but I think this was such an amazing thing, he might not have been changed by it, but I was! My relationship with my dad was never really a strong one, I always loved him and we got along really well but we never just talked and when we carpooled for that year or so I was able to do just that, just talk with my dad and I am so grateful that I was able to have that chance to bond with him and I think we will be forever closer because of it!
2. I was able to marry my best friend! I've had a little school girl crush on him since I was 12, we had a few things get in the way but finally we started dating and fell madly in love and got married this last spring. He is amazing and I love him more then he'll ever know!!
3. Just over a year ago I got a new job and with out that job I would never have been able to buy a house and still make all my other payments! This has been such a huge blessing for me in my life!

ok so I'm DONE!! And its not even that long! Now hopefully I can keep up on blogging lol... I'm going to try to get in at least a couple times a month! :)
